Joe Armstrong is the son of Actor Alun Armstrong. Born in London on 7th October 1978.

Although Joe was aware of and exposed to the acting profession it wasn't something he was interested in until his late teens when he studied drama at school and enjoyed it.

His first TV role was a small role alongside his father in the Kay Mellor penned dramahttp://www.tvrage.com/shows/id-1377. Joe followed this playing Tilney in Passer By. He has guest appeared in many UK series, and has Joe has recently been on screen in http://www.tvrage.com/shows/id-15100 for BBC Two. Joe is currently filming the role of Allan-a-Dale in Season Two of BBC's Robin Hood in Hungary
