Cat, a San Francisco native, attended Convent of the Sacred Heart High School and graduated in 2000 from San Francisco State University with a BA in Broadcast Communication Arts and BS in Sociology.
After internships at MTV, ABC News 20/20, Grey Advertising, and TechTV during college, Cat started a DJ management company, Flair Management. She and her partner controlled the careers of 8 DJ's and created a production company that produced records and grew a network of on-line music resources.
Upon graduation she was hired as head content producer for a start-up, Radio Riot Live, part of Rich Media Networks where she created programming for a teen based on-line radio station that discussed technology, trends, and lifestyle issues.
Cat then found her way back to TechTV as a content producer for TechTV's alternative distribution, developing new ways for TechTV to distribute content. She then took on the role of Production Assistant and On Air Contributor for The Screen Savers and later became a PA and co-host for Call For Help, producing consumer help segments as well as technical segments.
Now Cat's path is headed toward tech expert to America through her appearances on The Today Show, Howard Stern, KRON4 Morning News, Live with Regis and Kelly, and her monthly column in Stuff Magazine, " Ask The Tech Chick" where she helps people pick gadgets and fix computer problems.
