Caroline Dhavernas

Caroline Dhavernas is a French-Canadian actress, and was born on May 15, 1978 in Montreal, Quebec. Fluent in both English and French, Caroline began her career at age 8, doing French dubs of cartoon series such as 'Babar.' At age 12, she landed her first film role. She spent the next decade hopping between French and English language films and TV shows, before scoring her big American break in 2004. Bryan Fuller cast Dhavernas as lead character Jaye Tyler in the short-lived but much loved FOX fantasy comedy 'Wonderfalls.' She's worked steady in the USA since, most recently taking the role of Dr. Alana Bloom on NBC's 'Hannibal', a part that reunites her with producer Fuller. Other assorted credits include The Pacific, Law & Order, Devil, Hollywoodland, and The Secret Adventures of Jules Verne.
