Most widely known for his role as the high school jock, AC Slater, in Saved by the Bell, Mario has in fact been acting since 1984, when he appeared on the show A.K.A. Pablo as the younger brother. He was born in California in 1973 to his parents, Mario and Elvira. He graduated from Chula Vista High School in 1991, but never attended university. Mario is a talented drummer, a fact which has been incorporated into many of his TV roles, and singer. In 2004 he married his long-time girlfriend Ali Landry, but the marriage was annulled just two weeks later; he has since remained single and currently resides in Los Angeles.
