Character actor who was also one of the most prolific TV directors in the 1960s and 70s. Probably best remembered by TV viewers for his three appearances as notorious mobster Dutch Schultz on The Untouchables. Dobkin began his career as a child actor in radio and the New York stage before graduating from Yale with a degree in fine arts. He was also the narrator of the classic 1960's police drama Naked City.
