Sharon Gless

Sharon Gless is not your average Californian. She's sun-tanned, alright, and she wears those terribly becoming eye-catching California prints, but there's definitely something very, very different about her. What is this something different'? She's a fifth generation Californian. One runs into a lot of types of people in the state of sunshine and smog. But, to find a person whose ancestors have been around virtually since the state came into existence is rare indeed.
Sharon portrayed Maggie, a secretary/girl Friday in 1975 series "Switch!." Robert Wagner and Eddie Albert starred in the series, which evolved around the unique partnership of ex-con man Pete Ryan (Wagner) and ex-bunco cop Frank Mc-Bride (Albert) in a private investigating agency where they tried to pull the "switch" on swindlers.
The talented actress had left her native state only once, other than for brief vacations. That was when she attended Gonzaga University in Spokane, Wash. She was right back where she came from two years late, however, when she landed a job with an advertising agency. Her next position was as a production assistant for a motion picture company, and it was during this time that she decided to opt for an acting career.
