Denis O'Hare is an American actor, and was born on January 16, 1962 in Kansas City, Missouri. O'Hare is best known to TV fans for one of two memorable roles. Either you know him as villainous vampire king Russell Edgington on HBO's True Blood, or as psychotic burn victim Larry Harvey on FX's American Horror Story. O'Hare started out primarily as a stage actor, winning a Tony in 2003, and being nominated for another the following year. It wasn't until the mid-2000s that he started focusing on Hollywood, appearing in such critically well regarded films as Half Nelson, Charlie Wilson's War, Michael Clayton, Changeling, and Milk. Recently, he's appeared in the recurring role of Judge Charles Abernathy on CBS legal drama The Good Wife. Other credits include The Young Indiana Jones Chronicles, New York Undercover, Law & Order: SVU, 21 Grams, Garden State, Derailed, A Mighty Heart, Quarantine, Duplicity, The Proposal, Bored To Death, Brothers & Sisters, Edge Of Darkness, and Clint Eastwood's film J.
