Amanda Leigh Moore was born in Nashua, New Hampshire, on April 10, 1984. Her fathers name is Don and he works as a pilot for American Airlines, while her mother, Stacy used to work as a reporter, her two brothers names are Scott and Kyle. Moore did not grow up in Nashua because they moved to Seminole County, Florida when she was just six weeks old.
Moore's first interest was singing and she got a record deal already when she was 14. It would be her album that was going to make her famous, her first album So Real got all the way to be number 31 on the U.S. Billboard 200 album chart.
It was in 2002 she would have her breakthrough in the movie industry as she starred in the movie A Walk to Remember, since that she has starred in several movies like How to Deal, Saved! and Chasing Liberty. Moore has not been seen that much on television but she recently guest starred on the show Scrubs alongside her current boyfriend, Zach Braff who is a regular on the show.
In 2003 Moore released an album called Coverage which peaked at #14 on the Billboard 200, which was her highest ranking to date. Most recently Moore has been seen in the movies American Dreamz and has been heard in the movies Racing Stripes and Brother Bear 2.
