Ken Jeong is an American comedian/actor, and was born on July 13, 1969 in Detroit, Michigan. Jeong is a licensed physician specializing in internal medicine. In the mid-1990s, Jeong dabbled in stand-up comedy, and was urged by friends to move to L.A. Things were slow going at first, with Jeong taking work in small parts on sitcoms and sketch comedy programs. Ken's first big screen role was as a sarcastic doctor in Judd Apatow's 'Knocked Up'. He rode that fame to roles in 'Step Brothers', 'Pineapple Express', and Role Models'. Jeong finally hit it big in 2009, landing the fan favorite role of Mr. Chow in the blockbuster comedy 'The Hangover'. Later that same year, Jeong was cast as Ben Chang on the beloved NBC sitcom 'Community'. Things haven't slowed down for "Dr. Ken" since. Other credits include the two sequels to 'The Hangover', and guest spots on 'American Dad', 'Party Down', and 'Men of a Certain Age'.
