Navratilova urged her parents to go get Maria some professional training in the United States. Maria and her father, Yuri, immigrated to the U.S. when she was 7. Maria Sharapova Quotes |
| |
Maria: You do have to be ready to beat every single player, no matter what they're ranked, whether they're top 10 or outside the top 100. If you're not ready to beat them in the first round, I don't know if you're going to beat them in the later rounds. | Maria: I want to do my best and fight for every chance. |
