Ray Baker was born in Omaha, grew up in Colorado, and graduated from the University of Denver. In 1970, he moved to the East Coast. He started out doing improvisational theatre in Boston and New York. During nineteen years in New York City, appeared on Broadway in the shows "Crimes of the Heart", "Is There Life After High School?", "Torch Song Trilogy" and others. He also acted in Off-Broadway shows "The Proposition", "Character Lines" and many more. He moved to Los Angeles in 1989, where he now lives, and works as an actor in Movies and TV.
