Marcus Van Sciver is a wealthy business man who is obsessed with past buildings, and wants them to be remembered, rather than torn down and forgotten about.

Marcus is also the Leader of the House of Chthon, which conducts experiments on vampires.

Marcus killed Zack Starr, the twin brother of Krista Starr, for "looking in too many keyholes." Krista, while seeking revenge against Marcus, ends up being turned into a vampire by him when he injects a vampire serum into her, then throws her off a building. Krista now lives in the House of Chthon with Marcus.

Beloff is something of a legend in the gymnastics world, as was noted by Payson upon first arrival at "The Rock". A recluse after successfully winning not one, but four, Olympic Gold Medals (defeating Marty Walsh), he only agreed to return when Steve Tanner needed a way to wiggle his way back into "The Rock". Since his arrival he has shaped and molded the gyms top guns in his own image and has them prepared for success on the National stage.
