Bridgette married the retired professional tennis player and legendary hall of famer Pete Sampras from Washington, D.C. on 30 September 2000 and they have had 2 children together so far.
| In 1995 Bridgette played the role of Sonya Blade in the fantasy action adventure film "Mortal Kombat" but she was not the first choice as "Cameron Diaz" had to drop out of the part because of a broken wrist.
