Jacklyn was born in Englewood in New Jersey in 1953. She left high school at the age of 15 and later studied dance with a scholarship at the New York University.
Jacklyn is best known for her role of Bobby Spencer on General Hospital whom she has played since 1977. In 1979 she won the Soap Opera Digest Award for Best Villianess on a Daytime Drama Serial.
Jacklyn was married to the late disc jockey Murray Kaufman. She is now married to Glenn Gorden. They have two daughters called Cassidy and Lacey.
Jacklyn currently live in Malibu with her family and pets. Jacklyn's hobbies include making jewelry and interior design.
Jacklyn has appeared on celebrity editions of the American game shows Wheel Of Fortune and Family Feud.
