When she was only twelve years old, Dion composed a song in French (her native language) and sent it in to a record company, where manager René Angélil, heard it. He became her manager, and eventually her husband as well.
In 1991, she recorded the theme song to the Disney film, Beauty and the Beast, which won both a Grammy and an Oscar, and earned a star in the Canadian Walk of Fame in June of 2003. Her record album, “Falling Into You” sold more than 25 million copies and was the best-selling album of 1996, and she also won a Grammy for her vocal work on the Titanic soundtrack.
Dion was married to René Angélil on December 17, 1994 and they had a son in 1999, and for several years she took a break from working to raise him. However, in 2003, Céline began performing again in her own solo show in an arena built for her at Caesar’s Palace in Las Vegas, Nevada.

Celine Dion Quotes |
| |
There's always a new thing happening to me that's even more extraordinary, so pressure gets harder. But I like it when it's hard. Anyone can do it when it's easy. When it's hard and you can do it good, you're proud of yourself. There's going to be more pressure as the years go by, that's for sure. But I think I'm a hard worker and I'm ready for that. As long as I believe in what I'm doing, the pressure is okay with me. | There's one way to do showbiz, if you want to do it perfectly, you have to be disciplined and you have to be ready to work really hard.
