26 year old Jonas was born in Ireland on 1st January 1981 but grew up in St Anne's, Lancashire where he attended Arnold School. He then studied at RADA ( Royal Academy of Dramatic Art) where he graduated in 2003.

Jonas appeared in Series 4 Episode 2 - 8 of the popular Channel 4 Comedy/Drama
Teachers. He played Antony who has an affair with teacher Penny before dumping her to concentrate on his schoolwork. The series aired from 2nd November - 14th December 2004.
In 2005 Jonas appeared as Pete Maitland in
The Ghost Squad again for Channel 4. The eight part series followed an undercover internal unit investigating corruption within the police force. The series aired from 15 November - 27 December 2005. There are no plans for any further series.
In 2006 Jonas appeared on ITV in the drama
Losing Gemma in which he played Steve. The two part drama followed backpackers Gemma (Rachel Leskovac) and Esther ( Alice Eve) in India where they become friendly with a couple Zac and Coral with disastrous consequences.
Jonas is currently the start of the new BBC hit
Robin Hood.
