He met Genndy Tartakovsky (who would later create Dexter's Laboratory and would Genndy would work with Craig occasionally). When Craig was a freshman, he created a series of shorts of cartoons with a character called No Neck Joe. The cartoons were picked up by Spike and Mike's Sick and Twisted Festival of Animation. He also created Whoop-Ass Girls, which was about girls who were cute and little that had superpowers.Cartoon Network tapped Craig to do the art direction on one of their first original shows, 2 Stupid Dogs in 1993. 2 Stupid Dogs only lasted for a year, but it was popular. Also, Cartoon Network let him make more episodes of Whoop-Ass Girls, but Cartoon Network changed the name to Powerpuff Girls, because it was verbally offensive to the executives. The first shorts to ever air on Cartoon Network was on What-A-Cartoon in 1995. Full hour episodes aired on 1998 and the show has been airing ever since. The show hasn't produced new episodes, although the show is officially not canceled yet. Now, his latest project, Foster's Home for Imaginary Friends, which is still making episodes and has been airing on Cartoon Network since August 2004.
