Actor who was the son of a horror legend but managed to carve out a respectable (some would say legendary) career of his own in the genre as well as win acclaim for non-horror roles. Most famous horror role was that of Larry Talbot in The Wolf Man. Best known non-horror role was that of the dim-witted Lenny Small in the 1939 fllm Of Mice and Men.
