Natalia was born in Johnstown, Pennsylvania. Whilst attending Emory University, she took every acting class the university offered and starred in several student films. After graduating from university Natalia moved to Los Angeles where she was discovered by a casting agent while working at a Home Depot.
She made her daytime television debut on the ABC soap opera General Hospital playing the role of Emily Quartermaine. Natalia had a uncredited part in the 2002 film Big Fat Liar.
Natalia won a Daytime Emmy Award for Outstanding Supporting Actress in 2005. Natalia formerly dated her General Hospital co star Tyler Christopher.
Natalia is also fluent in Spanish.
