voiced Desaad in Superman (1996)
Bio: Desaad is one of Darkseid’s underlings and master inventor. He sent a gigantic device dubbed "Scream Machine" to Earth to destroy Superman. However, the Man of Steel managed to destroy is, so Desaad justified his failure by saying that the machine was merely a means to gauge Superman’s strength. Darkseid warned Desaad that he wouldn’t be allowed to fail him twice, so, he turned to Darkseid’s son Kalibak to cover his failure. Desaad manipulated Kalibak into disobeying his father and going to Earth to destroy Superman. |
