There has been much written about Jack Ging from the time he played football for the University of Oklahoma, to his status as a TV star in the sixties. The 5-foot, 11-inch, 160 pound actor-athlete was named to both high school and college All-America teams. He began his acting career after his discharge from the Marine Corps in 1957 and helped by such stars as Richard Carlson and Raymond Burr. The black-haired, blue-eyes Ging got married to the former Gretchen Graening, his college sweetheart.
