Kahlan Amnell is the Mother Confessor, the last one remaining. Her long hair is the symbol of her power (no one is allowed to have longer hair than her). She has the power to take the will of anyone she touches and then make him do whatever she wants, but it has a recovery time (a couple of hours) which leaves her weak.
As the Mother Confessor everybody must bow for her, even queens and kings. She is the ultimate power of her empire, and must protect it. |
