John Shea (1)
Home:

played Lex Luthor [S01; recurring afterwards] in Lois & Clark: The New Adventures of Superman

John Shea, plays the role of Superman's adversary, Lex Luthor. Lex Luthor is profoundly known as the arch nemesis of Superman. In this TV version, the producers decided not to portray Lex as a bald guy. His other traits remains the same, debonair millionaire who tries to challenge himself. The moment he knew about superman, he made it his agenda to find out who Superman is and to acquire his abilities.

John Shea only appeared on season 1 as a regular cast member when Lex's character was killed off. This may have to do with the misunderstandings between Shea and the producers since Shea lived in New York and the series was filmed in Los Angeles. He, however, appeared again several times in the remaining 3 seasons of the series.

played Adam Kane [seasons 1-2, recurring in season 3] in Mutant X

A genetic scientist, used to work for the GSA.
Really good with computers
Powers: None

Sky Three Teletext:
Adam is arguably the smartest man alive; a stratgist tactician and the moral centre of Mutant X

It was Adam's genetic research that inadvertently created New Mutants and he takes as his responsibility the salvation of these innocent victims.

Adam Kane was born as a result of a cloning experiment by the ancient geneticist, The Creator. A scientist of superior intellect, Adam Kane graduated from Stanford at 12 and began working at Genomex at 19. The treatments he developed to treat children with deadly diseases had the unforseen side effects of engendering new mutant abilities. After working at Genomex for twenty years, Adam felt guilty about his role in the creation of new mutants, and he left Genomex to build Sanctuary. He started Mutant X in order to protect new mutants from the threats they faced, and to hide them in the new mutant underground.
