Andy was originally born as a conjoined twin and his twin was no the size of a tennis ball and had to be surgically removed and all that remains on Andy is a small scar on his shoulder.
| He vehemently refuses to do nude scenes and during one audition he walked out because he was asked to remove his shirt.
| He has been married to producer Marivi Lorido Garcia since 1982 and they have had 4 children together so far.
| One of Andy's quotes is: "You are defined by who are, by your choices in life, in all regards, not just in doing movies".
