Kakashi, also known as "Copy-Ninja Kakashi", is a rather mysterious fellow. He is usually seen reading various adult books, his favourite being "Come, Come Paradise." Kakashi takes care of Team 7, which includes Naruto, Sasuke and Sakura.

Behind his mask lies his Sharingan. How he acquired that ability is unknown. Maybe some light will be shed into Kakashi's past in the "Kakashi Gaiden" story arc.

Kakashi is a Konoha Jonin and the current leader of Team 7, which originally consisted of Naruto Uzumaki, Sakura Haruno, and Sasuke Uchiha former member of team 7. In Part II Kakashi, Naruto, and Sakura form a team called Team Kakashi. Kakashi is known as Copy Ninja Kakashi or Sharingan Kakashi, referring to the Sharingan in his left eye and his use of it in battle, which has allowed him to copy more than one thousand jutsu. Kakashi's Sharingan eye is not his own; it originally belonged to his former teammate and friend, Obito Uchiha.
