Gordon Kennedy is known as a comic actor, a dramatic actor and as a Presenter. He first came to notice in the comedy sketch series Absolutely on Channel 4 which ran between 1989 - 1994. With cast members Morwenna Banks, Jack Docherty, John Sparkes, Peter Baikie and Moray Hunter they formed their own production Company Absolutely which has produced material for TV and Radio.
A stint as a presenter on The National Lottery programme in 1994 was followed by a regular role in the Morwenna Banks Show and he provided voices for Stressed Eric. Gordon then played Graeme in BBC Scotland's short lived drama River City before landing the role of Sergeant Bruce Hornsby in the popular Army drama Red Cap on ITV between 2001 and 2004. Guest roles in Where the Heart Is followed and as John Brown in the political drama The Deal about the relationship between Tony Blair and Gordon Brown.
