Stephnie was originally part of Second City in Chicago, where she wrote and performed in three mainstage revues. Before becoming a featured player on MadTv in season 6, then being promoted the following year to full time castmember and becoming one of the most loved castmembers on Madtv. She left in season 11. She is also a respected improviser also, having trained at Improv Olympic under Del Close and Charna Halpern and still performs at IoWest. She has performed at the New York, Chicago and Edinburgh Fridge Festivals. She has also gotten accolades like the CIF improviser of the year award and being named by Comedy Central as the top 10 up and coming comedians to watch, also winning Best Entertainer of the Year Award at the Second City Awards Show. Stephnie can be seen in the upcoming independent film Moonpie with her MadTv costar Michael Mcdonald. She has also been moved up from being a guest star to being a regular on the ABC comedy "Big Day".
