Marisol Nichols was born on November 2, 1973 in Chicago, Illinois, and she is the eldest child and has two younger brothers.
Marisol Nichols acting career appears to begin with a guest appearance on the March 28th episode of
Due South, and shortly thereafter gets a boast from landing a starring role on a television show. Unfortunately, that April 1996 comedy show,
My Guys, lasted just two episodes on CBS. Her career continued, though, and immediately after the cancellation of
My Guys, Marisol turned up one month later in an episode of
Beverly Hills, 90120. Other roles of note between starring jobs, was her 1997 turn as Audrey Griswold in
Vegas Vacation, the fourth and final Chevy Chase National Lampoon’s Vacation movie (so far; Christmas Vacation 2 was something of a “spin-off” of the series, following Cousin Eddie), and her two episode role as Kelly on
Boy Meets World. In 2000, Marisol acquired her second starring job, on the three season Showtime series
Resurrection Blvd.. Marisol was Victoria Santiago on this East LA Santiago boxing family series. After the end of
Resurrection Blvd, Marisol guest starred on several shows, like
Friends, and appeared in six episodes of
Cold Case as Elisa before landing her next starring role. In 2005, Marisol played Detective Karen Bettancourt on the short-lived ABC midseason cop series
Blind Justice, partner to Ron Eldard’s blind cop Detective Jim Dunbar. Rebounding from its cancellation (or failure to be picked up for a second season), Marisol immediately found another starring role. Marisol can be currently seen on the ABC drama
In Justice.
