Holly Willoughby is an English TV presenter, model and magician's assistant. Having worked as an advertising and catalogue model, she got her big break presenting Saturday morning kids TV show Ministry of Mayhem alongside magician Stephen Mulhern. In addition to presenting the show, Holly also acted as Stephen's assistant in various illusion such as having her head chopped off by a guillotine or being sawed in half. She later reprised this role as Stephen's assistant on season two of his magic show, Tricky TV.
Holly currently presents the flagship ITV daytime show, This Morning.
In August 2007, Holly married former Ministry Of Mayhem producer Daniel Baldwin, who is a cousin of actress Tamsin Outhwaite. While presenting Ministry Of Mayhem, she sometimes became the "victim" of fellow presenter Stephen Mulhern's magic tricks. In addition to various small tricks, Stephen also performed a number of large-scale illusions on Holly, including sawing her in half and chopping off her head with a guillotine. She's twice taken part in illusions where she's been sawed in half lengthways from head to toe, rather than the more usual "through the waist" sawing. The first time was by magician Criss Angel, when she interviewed him for This Morning in 2006. The second was by magician and illusion designer Franz Harary, who had designed the Criss Angel illusion, on the 2007 Royal Variety Performance. In the Criss Angel sawing, she was only seen in silhouette through the box's translucent sides, but in the Franz Harary illusion, the box was opened to show Holly divided in two within it.
