How to Save a Life, was released in September of 2005 and their hit single "Over My Head (Cable Car)" became a top 40 hit during the latter months of 2005. "How to Save a Life" was featured in an episode of both
Scrubs and
Grey's Anatomy and though it was never released as a single, the song made the top 100 Billboard chart. The song is was chosen as the song used to advertise the third season of
Grey's Anatomy, and since then "How to Save a Life" has been certified gold and is a top hit in Australia, Canada, and New Zealand. The Fray will begin their US and Canada tour in October with English singer
