In the early 1960's Mike Berry and the Outlaws was a popular band in Britain. One of their top hits was Tribute to Buddy Holly and they played top bill at the Cavern Club in Liverpool. The Beatles had played as one of their support bands. He got out of the music business for a while. When he returned he had top-ten hits in Europe. His biggest hit was "Sunshine of Your Smile" in 1980.
