Yayoi is the original pilot for Core Robot #1. After she was badly wounded in one of the battle, she became a drill instructor instead. Kazuki was the one who had saved her when she was injured. She became Kazuki’s teacher in his high school and his instructor in E.D.F. just to be near him. She even built a room next to his room and moved in there.
