[x] Remove Ad
Mostly Credited As: Larry Storch
Birth Name: Lawrence Samuel Storch
Date Of Birth: January 08, 1923 (Age 86)
Country Of Birth: USA
Birth Place: New York, New York

New York born Larry Storch used his ethnic surroundings to create a career out of doing characterizations and impressions. After a stint in the Navy during WWII, Storch got his first break replacing an ill Frank Morgan as host of "The Kraft Music Hall" on radio. His dead-on impression of Morgan was an instant success. His next break came on TV as the Summer replacement host on "Cavalcade of Stars," which led to his self titled variety show "The Larry Storch Show" which was a Summer replacement for "The Jackie Gleason Show." His long termed friendship with Tony Curtis paid off with bit movie roles.

He then moved on to many supporting roles on situation comedies. His biggest claim to fame was on F Troop as Forrest Tucker's sidekick Cpl. Agarn. Larry also has lent his voice to many cartoon series such as Tennessee Tuxedo and Underdog.
