Renge is the self-proclaimed manager of the Host Club. She first came to Ouran from France because she found out that Kyouya was in it. She was the otaku of a virtual reality game in which the main character looked exactly like Kyouya. Right when she went to Ouran Academy she went straight to Kyouya in the Host Club. She tried to change everyone's character and ended up making a small film with everybody's new character. This was ended with Kyouya smashing the camera lense because Tamaki showed his violent side. Renge ended up falling for Haruhi and slightly forgetting about Kyouya. After this she tried to develop a Host Club in France but it ended as a disaster so she decided to say in Japan. She is seen throughout episodes by a high powered motor that seems to pop up from anywhere. She is yet to discover that Haruhi is a girl.
