Along with Daphne Ashbrook, John Franklyn-Robbins, Maurice Roëves, Olaf Pooley and Christopher Neame, he is one of only six actors to appear in both the Star Trek and Doctor Who franchises. He played Ravon in the 1975 Doctor Who serial "Genesis of the Daleks" and Stuart Reed in the Star Trek: Enterprise Season One episode "Silent Enemy". Franklyn-Robbins also appeared in the former. Interestingly in all six cases, the actor in question plays a human in one and an alien in the other and dies in one but not the other.
