Political Animals: Second Time Around

The episode begins in 1997 with Bud busy on the phone, and Elaine standing in front of his desk waiting to talk to him. Elaine, after Bud has finished his call asks him if he has slept with a woman named Sarah. Bud denies it, but Elaine tells him that it was Sarah who came forward with this revelation. Elaine tells Bud that Sarah has dates and what he prefers in bed, when Bud claims that she barely knows Sarah. Elaine doesn’t believe Bud, and throws a tantrum. Back in the present, Elaine is shown recollecting the whole incident while talking to the President. She then asks the President to send Bud to Iran to negotiate. ..
