» When Life Sucks But Death Won’t Follow :(
[Song stuck in my head “Rock Star”]

Well I just got fired from Wal-Mart. Do know how embarrassing it is to be fired from the lowest job in the U.S.? However, I can’t decide if this is a good thing or bad thing just yet. On one hand it was a steady income, if albeit a minimum wage income, but now I can focus on getting a better paying job.

I got canned for being out sick too many days. By that I mean Wally World gives employees paid “sick days,” but it is just that they don’t allow employees to be out sick. Go figure.

Plus, to make my day even worse, my truck battery was dead. My “cool” truck alarm somehow drains my battery in ways I don’t understand if I don’t drive it every day.

Plus, I now have no phone. The IRS sucks! The IRS has been taking 50% of my pay for like the last nine months. To wit I can’t pay my cell phone bill (being my only phone now).

There are even worse things going on in my life then these items, but I just don’t want to discuss them now.

So life really sucks

Believe me I know exactly how you feel! It's pretty much been the same for me lately. Sometime it just feels nice to b***h. Get all that black feeling out.

Thanks nishikaze, I did just want to vent. I love that I can blog here on this site and vent all my issues. Sorry they are not happy issues though. I think everything will work out, but only time will tell. I hate being unemployed, but I hated working at W-M too.

Why exactly, Steve, is the IRS taking money out of your account?

Well after being laid off and unemployed for a period of time I used most of my 401K benefits, you know to eat, pay rent, etc. The IRS felt I didn’t need to eat or pay rent, etc., so they taxed me at the max rate.

Part of this was my fault as I could have negotiated a much reduced monthly fee / rate, but I wanted to get past this unwarranted theft of my income as quickly as possible. However it seems it will never end and it just adds to my current ongoing dilemma

On the good side I still have electricity, heat, and the Internet (for now).

On the bad side I don’t think the good side will last long

If you don’t hear from me soon, I guess you’ll know why.
