Happy, I thought your Osten Taylor review was pretty fair.

As for the rest, I ignore as much of the "rivalry" stuff as I can. No point in getting worked up about it. I'm happy with what I do at both places.

Right, I have about 25 cents invested in both places.

I like the fact that tvrage added all the shows that I thought should be added, and tv.com has added none of them...

Say, that's funny, Calvin peeing on the Blue Logo!

I don't think it's possible to be too harsh on Osten Taylor. I think he's working the night shift at McDonalds now.

KJ23, in his tv.com blog said: They're the ones that took data that wasn't even theirs to begin with. How’s that for the pot calling the kettle black?

KJ23, here, said: I don't let people get away with slander.

tv.com BOUGHT the site and all the info on it. That's not stealing, and saying that it is is slander. (Technically, since this is written, it's libel... but we won't quibble over that). So you need to apologize or be a hypocrite, KJ23.

Legally, you would have to prove monetary damages in your libel or slander.

But the fast is true. TV.com bought TvTome. For a nice price too! So all the content, reviews, crews, trivia, everything that the editors had contributed up to that time, was theirs.

So they did not steal anything. Now, some of their editors may have stolen from here. But that's doubtful.

And there's a small group of us that write reviews and summaries, and then post to both sites at the same time. I do try to make each submission slightly different to each. But when you're dealing with hundreds of subs, that just takes too much time, which I don't have right now.

I hate it when people who weren't even around for the buyout try to lecture me about this.

Just because CNET bought tvtome doesn't mean the whole thing was legal. You can buy stolen property. Read the old tvtome terms of service. It says anything we submitted is our intellectual property. Not the property of Webmaster John, not the property of CNET, not the property of anybody but us. John had no right to sell it and CNET had no right to buy it.

I stand by my statement that that little p*** ant had no right to call me a thief.

As for my use of the word slander, I used it as a synonym insult, not it its legal form.
