Super Bowl in New York/New Jersey
-- posted on January 10, 2014
Okay, I am officially sick and tired of all the whining about playing this year's Super Bowl in the Meadowlands.
"It's gonna be cold!" - "Wahhh!"
"It might snow!" - "Wahhh!"
"Peyton Manning can't throw for 800 yards!" - "Wahhh!"
Suck it up cupcake, football is supposed to be played in cold, wet, muddy, miserable weather! The playoffs are played outside in January. The last month of the season is in cold weather. Why is it fair to always play the Super Bowl in warm, sunny weather or in a dome all the time? Some teams are made to play in the cold; those with good running attacks, a controlled passing game and butt-kicking defenses. Why don't they get the advantage every decade or so? Comment >>
