We'll I did my IFA (initial fitness assessment) for the Navy yesterday. The requirements were:
Run 1 1/2 miles in 13:30
37 push ups in 2:00
42 sit ups in 2:00
MY results were:
run 11:55
40 push ups in 32 seconds
45 sit ups in 55 seconds
I'm now ready to ship out for boot camp Sunday. Seems like my life is finally going to improve, my wife is excited about being able to buy a house by the end of the year. Everyone wish me luck |

Thanks Chris, means alot to me, I'm very excited
And yes Ryan, I used to play football, but I was also slow, I was a lineman...in my hs days i ran a 5.6 40 yard....so cutting weight to 196 and getting 12 mins for 1.5 miles is pretty good, ill be in even better shape soon. I'll take that test 3 times in bootcamp, I only have to pass once, and they say half of bootcamp fails it the first time so I say I'm far ahead of everyone else. |
