» Went to the Fair and Saw Some Famous Animals
Mood: tired
Wow, I can't believe it's been so long since I blogged last. Anyway, last night my mom, brother, and I went to Turlock last night to see the Beach Boys at the Stanislaus County Fair. The show was fun and all, but I was more excited at seeing these guys:

Yep, the Budweiser Clydesdales came to the fair on July 29th and will be staying there until Stanislaus County fair closes tomorrow (August 2nd). What's also cool about the fair was that I got to see some old classmates from college since my program had a booth in one of the building and when we were getting ready to leave for the night I ran into a friend that I went to elementary school and high school with. I wasn't expecting to see her, but she was talking to a couple people that where in front of me in line for some awesome cinnamon rolls. We talked for a few minutes and then parted ways.

So, I've got nothin' else to say except see ya in the forums.

I both love and fear horses. It's a strange feeling.

Interesting. Did you have a bad experience around horses to make you feel that way holophonor?

They just always look so completely capable of stomping the brains out of your skull. But then they also seem really gentle and smart. I'm torn about horses.

Which Beach Boy did you see, Mike Love or Al Jardine? Last I knew they were fighting over who could use the name in concert.

Cool, Gina!

When I was in Amsterdam last year, I saw the Heineken horses on the street and got a photo of them. I wonder which came first?

The Clydesdales were first used when prohibition was repealed as a statement as the horses pulled the Budweiser wagon down the streets.
