» New & Improved
You may remember my photo blog about the flowers in my yard that I posed last June. It's HERE, if you don't.

This is the new & improved, updated version for 2008. Why is this year's flower blog better, you ask? No tease of a title (though I admit that was fun, and technically accurate) plus last year I shot the photos on a rainy day, and this year the sun makes them almost glow. AND... there's some different flowers since I'm taking the pics a month earlier than last year.

So... photos I took in my lush yard:

First, the white tulips:

Next, the Bleeding Hearts. If you look you can see a big ol' fat bumblebee in the second one.

Next, the Oregon Grape:

Only one of the hyacinth, since they're past their prime:

The freshly planted geraniums... they haven't hit their peak yet:

And the red tulip:

And last, Josie in front of the rhodys that haven't bloomed yet:

It's nice that after the snowy winter from hell, that we finally got some signs of spring.

Beautiful photos of your yard Cindy. What a nice selection of flowers you have planted in your yard. That photo of Josie looks like she is giving that flower a stern look in an attempt to make it bloom.

Great photos, Cindy! My mom the plant-killer would be envious of your garden.

Bumblebees are damned freaky animals.

But nice pictures. I never really got how something could be improved if it was already new but I'm okay now. *posts pictures of the weeds in my backyard and the sagebrush in front of my house*

I purposely scrolled right by the bumblebee picture. Bees=the #1 thing most likely to scare holophonor.
