Push, Nevada is bizarre, hypnotic mystery straight out of a nightmare.
A smart and introspective IRS agent, named Jim Prufrock, heads off to an isolated desert town on an anonymous tip to locate some missing money. He finds himself in a place where mystery, peril and quirky characters fill the landscape. Everyone in Push, Nevada has a secret, but no one will share any information with Jim, unless they're telling him to get out of town — fast. Every little piece of information revealed in the show could be a clue to solving the puzzle of this odd Nevada backwater.
The mystery is sparked when Jim and his sidekick secretary receive a fax from the Versailles Casino in Push. It seems to have been sent to Jim by accident, but it alerts him to an enormous accounting error — and an embezzlement scheme involving a lot of money. The head casino boss, Silas Bodnick, refuses to discuss anything involving the missing cash.
In Push, Nevada, odd neighborhood couples rendezvous each night at 9:15, the Versailles Casino pays out the biggest jackpots in the state, and the local pick-up joint is a slow-dance bar called "Sloman's". Here Jim meets Mary - a gorgeous and vulnerable woman who has plenty of secrets of her own. She informs him he will get hurt if he doesn't get out of town. Jim refuses to give up on the mysteries behind Push, no matter what is at stake. As Jim investigates, a secretive team of high-tech operatives watches his every move.
