In a distant land, a black tower stands in the middle of devastated lands. A black moon passes before the sun and the “tower” glows with energy. The black structure springs out of the ground and forms into a demonic figure. The figure, Aku, boasts that it is once again free to terrorize the land. ..

Episode Quotes
Aku: You might have beaten me now, but I will destroy you in the future.
Jack: There is no future for you, Aku.
Aku: I disagree.



Episode Goofs
The minion swings its whip at the Emperor and it is ahead of him.



But in the next shot, the minion's arm is behind him and the whip is outsretched.


Jack is holding his sword as he fights Aku.



However, when Aku slashes Jack's back, the sword briefly vanishes.



And then reappears in the next shot.
