Redd Foxx and Demond Wilson co-starred in this hit sitcom that aired on NBC from 1972-77 about a cantankerous Los Angeles junkman and his long-sufferring son. The series was based on the hit British comedy Steptoe and Son. Sanford and Son was one of the first shows to feature a predominantly Afro-American cast.
