| 1 :01x01 - To Be or Not to Be (Sep/12/1993) | The seaQuest, the newest, most advanced military submarine every constructed, has been given over to the United Earth Ocean organization. Its designer and creator, retired Navy officer Nathan Bridger, is brought onboard to view the creation he had left unfinished after his only son died in combat. Bridger wants nothing to do with the military now, but reluctantly visits his creation, now set up as mix of military and scientific crew.

| 3 :01x03 - Treasure of the Mind (Sep/26/1993) | On a scientific exploration of the Mediterranean Coast off of Egypt, the seaQuest uncovers an underwater structure that turns out to be an annex of the great library of Alexandria. Inside is an air pocket containing many valuable antiques and scrolls from many past cultures. However, word of their discovery gets out, and many Mediterranean nations lay claim to the objects from their past. They demand to get them back, and some say they would rather destroy the structure, rather than letting their items be taken by another country. Bridger is forced to call for a mediation between the confronting countries.
To complicate matters, Bridger is ordered to use the help from a special negotiating assistance team. Bridger is not happy about this, but finds their help useful. However, this team has their own hidden agenda. | 5 :01x05 - Treasures of the Tonga Trench (Oct/09/1993) | Lt. Krieg, in a Crab, comes into contact with a large biologic (a big unknown sea creature). After surviving the encounter, Krieg discovers small objects that lameness. Krieg sees these as valuable items, and plans to collect and sell them. However, his big mouth brings most of the crew into his scheme to profit from them. Soon the whole boat wants in on the possible profits to be made. But the gem may not turn out to be a gem after all.
To complicate matters even more, a UEO fitness inspection by Capt. Layton turns the boat upside down. Layton seems to find nothing right with the crews’ excellent performance, which, however, is hampered by the “gem” hunt.
Even worse, it turns out the biologic is not happy about seaQuest’s activities either. | 7 :01x07 - Give Me Liberte (Oct/24/1993) | The seaQuest investigates the discovery of a NGO space station which fell from orbit, and sank into the sea. The [group] which first found the satellite had gone mad and all are now dead. The seaQuest away team investigating the salvage find themselves in isolation upon their return to seaQuest, waiting to see if they have been infected too.
Bridger must find the lone survivor of the space station, a scientist who might know the answers they need, to save their crew. But will that survivor cooperate? | 8 :01x08 - Knight of Shadows (Oct/31/1993) | When Bridger has strange dreams, the seaQuest is lead to a sunken luxury liner. Although records show everyone, but two, where rescued, a mysterious third person, woman, appears to him as an apparition.
Once on board the sunken ship they find fresh air, and then they encounter ghostly apparitions. Dr. Westphalen is taken over by the woman’s spirit. Together, she leads them to the answers as to why and how the ship came to its demise.

| 9 :01x09 - Bad Water (Nov/07/1993) | When seaQuest goes on a search for a missing submarine full of French school children, Ford, Lucas, Dr. Westphalen, and Kreig’s rescue sub begins to sink dramatically to the ocean floor. In order to survive, they must jettison everything they can, on the rescue sub. They are forced to abandon the rescue sub for a life raft.
To make matters worse, a major storm, soon to be a hurricane, is growing on the surface above. | 10 :01x10 - The Regulator (Nov/21/1993) | SeaQuest develops internal problems with its air conditioning, thus forcing the crew to temporally double, and even triple room bunk together to minimize their power usage. In order to speed up trying to fix the problem, Kreig contacts a brilliant, but notorious, scientist, now working as a black marketer, to obtain the chip needed to fix the boat’s cooling system.
It turns out the Regulator, as the black marketer is known, becomes more interested in Darwin, as Darwin maybe able to prove his discredited theory on Spherical Evolution. Lt. Ford is one of the few crew not captured, and must form a counter plan. In doing so, he tells Lt. Cmdr. Hitchcock to answer the terrorist questions truthfully. Once finding the buoy after it emerges from the lava flow on a small island, they come upon a small group of treasure hunters intent on finding Black Beard’s partner’s long lost buried treasure. Unfortunately, the readings from the probe indicate a volcanic eruption on the island is eminent. However, the treasure hunters don’t trust the UEO crew and think they are after their treasure and refuse the order to evacuate the island. | 16 :01x16 - Whale Song (Feb/06/1994) | SeaQuest is ordered to search out and destroy a renegade activist submarine which is sinking whaling ships in the North Sea, which are breaking UEO laws. Bridger is conflicted about the order, and promptly resigns his command. Bridger tells Lucas he has to leave too. However, Lucas stows away to remain on the boat.

| 17 :01x17 - The Stinger (Feb/20/1994) | The U.E.O. elicits bids for a high performance one man submersible. Lucas, along with several of the crew, joins in the competition to win the lucrative contract. Their major competitor, a large corporate entity, has a skeleton in its closet; a former maverick scientist who’s work they claim the intellectual rights to. He plans to enter his own design; one claimed by the corporation.
When the crew’s entry, the “Stinger” as Lucas wants to call it, is sabotaged, the question becomes who did it; the corporation or the maverick scientist? Their investigation is hampered by the U.E.O.’ stand that seaQuest’s request for information must be treated as the same as it would be handled from any competitor.

The seaQuest bows to his demands to come aboard and interact with Darwin. However, the former enemies of the dictator discover he is on seaQuest and threaten to destroy the sub if he is not turned over to them. Bridger must find away to defuse the perilous situation both onboard and from the aggressive actions from the vessels above. | 23 :01x23 - Higher Power (May/22/1994) | As the seaQuest crew ponders their promotion and reassignment possibilities while on leave, Lucas’ father, Dr. Wolenczak, is about to startup his dream of an underwater hydro-electric plant that will provide energy to everyone on Earth. However, the unstable sea floor around the plant causes things to go horribly wrong during the startup. The seaQuest must try to rescue the hydro-electric plant’s personnel and Lucas’ estranged and distant father.
The real question is whether the seaQuest can survive the rescue itself.
