O.K. Crakerby is a self-made millionaire with few social graces and the snobs of high society snub him. In an effort to help his children fit in with their wealthy friends, O.K. hires St. John Quincy, an unemployed Harvard graduate, to teach the family what they need to know. The two men frequently disagree, but are united by their dislike of social snobbery.
