This British children's adventure serial from the BBC is about a hunt for lost treasure in the ancestral home of the Dark family.
Two children, Edward Dark and Tracy Brown, are helped in their search for the treasure by some friendly but eccentric ghosts, some of Edward's ancestors. They are befriended by Miss Hawk, an antique dealer, but in fact she and her cronies are in competition with the children to find the treasure first.
Although it was made a quarter of a century ago, all ten episodes of Dark Towers still get a regular airing on CBBC in the UK, the latest being in Spring 2006.
