Ergo Proxy

In a domed city known as Romdeau, humans and androids, called Autoreivs, coexist in peace. It is a city where emotions are not necessary, and therefore are discarded. Because of this, the city is considered a paradise, where everything is controlled, and crime is unheard of. But a recent string of mysterious murders threatens this city's peace. Real Mayar, as well as her autoreiv partner, Iggy, are assigned to solve the murders. Not long after, Real sees a message that reads "Awakening", and is attacked by a creature that is not human nor an autoreiv. As the mystery deepens, Real is led to a world outside the city, a world far beyond the boundaries of Romdeau.
