"Capital News" Summary

Jonathan Turner is the Editor-in-Chief of [i[The Washington Capital, one of D.C.'s daily newspapers. The newsroom was divided into two sections Metro, which dealt with the fact that Washington was at that time the "murder and drug capital" of the nation. The other section was National, which focused on the governmental aspects of the town.

Although, the producers denied it, many people noticed the similarity of the shows characters to the people who worked at The Washington Post.
